Committee Roles

Do you have something to say about coaching psychology?

Are you keen to have an impact on the field of coaching and coaching psychology?

Do you want to shape the future of the profession?

Are you passionate about getting coaching psychology 'out there'?

Do you want to be part of an active team co-ordinating the development of the fastest growing area of applied psychology?

Because we are a fast growing outfit, with a lot to do, we are constantly in need of more people to get involved in:

  • Our working groups, sub committees and teams
  • Planning and delivering our workshop programme
  • Supporting the delivery of our very successful National and International Conference events

There is currently one vacancy on the Main SGCP Committee:

  • Assistant to the Honorary Treasurer: The SGCP has run efficiently and effectively since its development. The keen eye to financial management and our policy of maximising benefits for members have been a key part of that success. If you are interested in taking a full role on our main committee and supporting the Honorary Treasurer with the financial management of the SGCP, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Role - Assistant Honorary Treasurer

There is also the opportunity to get involved as a Website Co-ordinator. This would involve supporting the Website Officer in having oversight of the current website and ensuring content is up to date and easily accessible.

Role - Website Coordinator

If you feel you could fulfill either of these roles, please complete the Statement of Interest Form below. The deadline for submission of statements of interest is the 30th July 2008.

If you have any questions with regard to the above roles or would like more information about forthcoming opportunities, contact our honorary secretary, in the first instance at sgcpsecretary@bps.org.uk or complete a Statement of Interest Form:
