Action required - indicate if you agree with proposal and raise any queries concerning the report.

I appreciate the careful and diplomatic work clearly being carried on by the AWP. Agree it would be worthwhile to invite Simon Bowen to Conference and to input at AGM.

I agree with the proposal to invite Simon to the AGM. It will be a good representation of the support we have internally in the BPS to help us with these aims.

Thanks to all in the AWP involved in the meetings and discussions to get us to this point.

Recommendations / Proposal The AWP believe that it would be valuable to have Simon attend the 2nd European Coaching Psychology conference this year, and make a specific contribution at the Annual General Meeting of the SGCP on the 15th
Seems a good idea. Although the AGM is reserved for SGCP members we will probably have have guests attending it from Europe. The GBC directory sounds interesting.

A further thought. I note in the Exec report it states: It may be that a letter is written to the BoT to let them know what is being proposed and to get their confirmation. Noting the long history regarding accreditation for SGCP members, to save time, it's probably better to find out now if the BoT agree to setting up registers to avoid any disappointment after discussing it at the next AGM.
If it does get off the ground, then do note that registers could allow non-SGCP members to join them. It will be important that it is reserved for SGCP members only otherwise it will undermine SGCP membership.

Thank you for all your inputs on this, the thinking is useful and support appreciated.
I agree with regards the letter to the BoT.
I'm also thinking how we can include Simon at the AGM to provide maximum inclusion to those who are interested

Sounds like really interesting progress towards a highly valued goal, thanks to all involved. Great that potential hiccough spotted now and not after AGM. Am in favour of AGM invite.
