Special Group in Coaching Psychology

Measuring the Effectiveness of Coaching Interventions - A Networking Evening Event
Facilitator: Dr Max Blumberg

Date: 25th June 2009 , 6.00pm to 8.30pm
Location: The British Psychological Society, 30 Tabernacle Street, LONDON, EC2A 4UE

Come along to our first SGCP evening event - a very topical discussion combined with an informal networking evening.

Our speaker, Dr. Max Blumberg (www.maxb.com) will be talking about how to prove the value of workforce performance improvement interventions such as coaching and then using this information to improve effectiveness. During the session, Max has offered to help a few audience members develop coaching measures for their own practices as a means of illustrating the simplicity of the approach.

As you can see from the above web link, Max has a wealth of experience regarding this subject on which to draw and emphasises that coaching measurement is a journey; no one starts out perfectly, but to prove the value of your coaching, you need at some point to get onto the measurement train. The evening should therefore provide plenty of thought provoking morsels on which to chew.

Other morsels served will be light refreshments!

So come along and meet Max and network with other coaching psychologists over a glass of something.

The cost is £10 for SGCP members and £15 for non-members. Space is limited to 40 delegate's only so book now to avoid disappointment.

We look forward to welcoming you!

For booking information and to download a booking form please see the 'News Page' of the SGCP website www.sgcp.org.uk or please contact Tracy White, E-mail: tracy@virtuallyorganised.com

Each attendee will receive a Workshop attendance certificate as evidence for CPD Logbooks or Practitioner-in-Training Logbooks.

Hi there

I'm part of the group that's organising this years conference, and thought I'd take the opportunity of getting your input - whilst we still have some time to shape things.

We're hosting the conference at Royal Holloway univerisyty, Egham (15th and 16th December)

The title is changing perspectives - with a number of topical themes.

We think that developing a stronger sense of community as coaching psychologists is helpful

What I'm curious to know is:

What are the ideas that you have that may strengthen the sense of community at the conference?

What would make our conference 'unmissable' for you?

Really looking forward to hearing from you.
