Chair - Ho Law
Dr. Ho Law, a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and a founder member of this Special Group, has over 20 years experience in central government and private practice. He was instrumental in helping Professor Stephen Palmer to set up the former Coaching Psychology Forum by communicating the development to the Division of Occupational Psychology and served as a committee member. He also contributed to the special edition of Coaching Psychology in The Occupational Psychologist and was the former Head of the Professional Forum for the Association for Coaching. He was one of the first equality advisors to the Assistant Permanent Under Secretary of State in the Home Office, and the Deputy chair of the Society Standing Committee for Promotion of Equal Opportunities. He is a member of Association of Business Psychologists, Divisions of Counselling Psychology, and Sport and Exercise Psychology.
In this video podcast Ho outlines the vision and aims of the SGCP for 2010. He discusses in particular the focus on bringing coaching psychology to a wider audience; explaining the benefits to society in general, where it can be of great use in these challenging times.
