Jonathan Passmore
Jonathan is a chartered occupational psychologist based at the University of East London, where he is Programme Director of the MSc Coaching Psychology. He also teaches on the Occupational Psychology programme and supervises doctoral research. Jonathan has worked in the public and private sectors in a number of senior roles including being a director in local government, a national charity chief executive and a company chairman for a large sports and leisure company. More recently, Jonathan has worked in the commercial sector as a management consultant, with Pricewaterhouse Coopers Consulting and IBM Business Consulting and OPM. Jonathan originally served on the SGCP during its formative period in 2002-3 and has subsequently been involved with the British Psycholoigcal Society Occupational Psychology Training committee which accredited UK courses. He has published widely in the areas of coaching, organizational change, organizational policy and competencies, with over fifty articles and eight books. His most recent titles are in Appreciative Inquiry for Organizational change, Excellence in coaching and Diversity in coaching Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys travelling to remote places across the globe including North Korea and the Antarctic.
