Dr. Manfusa Shams is a Chartered Psychologist with a specialism in Occupational and Health Psychology. Manfusa is particularly interested to apply psychological knowledge to address Organisational issues, and to work towards an effective intervention strategy to address local and global social crisis and interpersonal interactional conflicts. As an active researcher, Manfusa has recently completed a project on leadership in family business in conjunction with London Business School, and is Co-Editing a book on Work, Organizational psychology and International Business with Manchester Business School. She has published an outstanding number of scholarly articles in high quality peer-reviewed journals; noteworthy is her edited special issue for Asian Journal of Social psychology (2005) on Epistemological issues and methodological developments in psychology across cultures. Manfusa is also an Associate Fellow of the BPS, and contributed to a special issue of 'The Psychologist' on 'Bringing Psychology to all societies'. She also works in partnership with various professional organizations, such as the International Association for Applied Psychology (IAAP), and Psychology Teaching and Learning from (PLAT) Higher Education Academy (HEA).
