Zorica Patel


Zorica Patel is Lecturer in the Human Resource Management (HRM) Department and Deputy Module Leader for the Strategic Perspectives module. She is teaching a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules at Westminster Business School.

Zorica acquired her first degree in Economics from the University of Belgrade. After moving to the UK, she gained a Psychology degree from the Open University. She obtained her MSc in Occupational and Organisational Psychology from University of East London. She has commenced her Professional Doctorate in Occupational Psychology at the University of East London in 2011.

Zorica is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist in the British Psychological Society and a Graduate member of the Division of Occupational Psychology. She is an accredited Level A & Level B BPS psychometric test administrator and a member of the Psychometrics Forum. Zorica holds a Diploma in Coaching for Enhanced Performance. Her other professional qualifications include PGCHE - Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education acquired from the University of Westminster and she is the Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Her voluntary professional involvement includes being the Promotions Secretary of the British - Eastern European Psychology Group (BEEPG) and in this capacity she has successfully organised the BEEPG Annual Networking Events from 2007 - 2011. She is also a Special Group in Coaching Psychology (SGCP) Committee member and the Co-Chair in the Events team of the SGCP.

Zorica is involved in freelance coaching for individual and career development and enhanced performance and her research interest lies on the axis between Coaching, Positive and Occupational Psychology.
