Welcome to this issue of The Coaching Psychologist, in which there are a range of interesting contributions on topics such as Rational coaching with perfectionist leaders and A HEALTHY development from the Multimodal approach to coaching. Following his keynote at the 2nd European Coaching Psychology Conference, Professor Siegfried Greif also shares with us an overview of recent observation studies of coaching behaviour and the coaching relationship. Themes for the forthcoming UK-hosted event of the 1st International Congress of Coaching Psychology (December 2010) are highlighted in our interviews with keynote speakers, who share their hopes and expectations for the event and their views on a variety of coaching psychology topics.
We have one contribution to the Coaching Psychology Techniques section where Kasia Szymanska writes about unconditional self-acceptance. This issue also includes our regular ethics column from Julie Allen, the SGCP Ethics and Social Policy Liaison Officer. The Conference and Events Reports section provides us with an update from the SGCP Publications and Communications sub-committee as well as an overview of the Association of Business Psychologists Conference (May 2010). For this issue we are also featuring two book reviews.
I am always interested to hear your views and suggestions about The Coaching Psychologist and can be e-mailed at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I would like end by thanking all of the contributors to this issue.
