2009-03-11T15:08:13 00SueBurnell3Two places are available in this London based group that I belong to, which explores the dilemmas, paradoxes and ethical issues we encounter in our work. We are consultants and coaches who work into organizations.
We meet monthly for two hours on Tuesday afternoons at a venue near to Swiss Cottage tube. The group size is between 5 and 8 members. I find the sessions both supportive and informative - it is rare to have the opportunity to compare experiences with peers of working "into" organisations of different types. The sessions count as continuing professional development.
The group is led by Christine Thornton, whose book on "Group and Team Coaching" is about to be published by Routledge. More information about the group, costs and an application form is available on her website www.thorntonconsulting.org http://www.thorntonconsulting.org>

http://www.sgcp.org.uk/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=95&threadid=643
2009-01-27T10:53:40 00VickyEllamDyson2 Ruth Raven of the Standing Conference Committee (SCC) at the BPS is looking for recommendations for speakers for their annual conference. Posted below is the request from Ruth. Please note that whilst the request focuses on very research focused speakers I have since clarified with her that they are open also to speakers who can discuss practice as well as reasearch. In fatc this is something that they are keen to increase.
