Alanna is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, a Coaching Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She is keen to contribute personally to coaching psychology’s evidence-base through her current Doctorate research investigating the coach-client relationship and its potential as a change agent in coaching outcome. An interest in broader applications for psychological interventions outside the therapy context, combined with her previous business background as a Fund Manager, encouraged her involvement with coaching psychology and the SGCP. She is committed to the development of Coaching Psychology as an area of applied psychology.
Alanna now runs a business providing coaching psychology services alongside the private therapy practice which she has run for several years.
Currently Honorary Treasurer of the Special Group in Coaching Psychology, Alanna has been an active member of its Executive and Full Committee, in a number of roles, throughout the three-year period of the Special Group’s existence as a sub-system.
