Boundaries and Professional Practice

Marion Gillie

BPS London Office, Tabernacle Street, London

Thursday, 25th September 2008, 10.00am - 4.30pm (Registration from 09.30am)

This one-day workshop will explore some of the key core concepts and questions concerning coaches, including issues of professional practice, the boundaries that support and protect both the coach and the coachee and, importantly, how flexible or rigid are you in your own practice. It will consider the issues around contracting with a client, and will give you the opportunity to reflect on how you currently do this, and how you might prefer to structure contracts in future. Finally, the workshop offers the chance to reflect on the core principles that drive you in your coaching psychology practice and professional standards.
