Angel is currently working in both the academic and practical settings of health psychology and often integrates skills she acquired from a Primary Certificate in Health Coaching to her professional work. As an academic, she is actively engaged in research relating to health promotion, disease prevention and public health. She co-ordinates 3 Masters level modules in the areas of Public Health, Professional Skills for Health Psychologists and putting Health Psychology into Context with other disciplines, recently to include Coaching Psychology. As a practicing Chartered Health Psychologist, she works in a multi-disciplinary team with predominantly clinically obese individuals.
Angel is joining the SGCP committee as the PsyPag representative and has 3 years experience on Society committees, including the Membership and Professional Training Board (MPTB), and the Division of Health Psychology (DHP). Outside of these roles, Angel enjoys spending time with her young family.
