Alison was co-proposer of the Special Group in Coaching Psychology (SGCP), working alongside Professor Stephen Palmer to support the development of the Special Group within the British Psychological Society. More broadly, she has promoted the profession of Psychology within the field of coaching. This has included presenting at a number of workshops and conferences, and organising coaching psychology events prior to the development of the SGCP.
As an experienced Chartered Occupational Psychologist and coach she has worked coaching individuals as well as facilitating coaching workshops and psychological coaching programmes internationally.
Alison has had previous experience on Society committees, holding the position of Treasurer for the Section of Occupational Psychology before its merger with the Division of Occupational Psychology.
