Douglas Young

   

Douglas was awarded his PhD for research into generalisation in learning process, has been working as a coach for more than fifteen years, and is a member of the European Coaching and Mentoring Council. An experienced management and organisation consultant, he has conducted a significant number of international assignments, providing organisation change, leadership development and coaching programmes at Executive and Board level. He runs a company which provides management development and 1:1 coaching, and has designed a web based coaching support tool which is currently being deployed in the Health and Education sectors.

Douglas is currently attending the IGA Advanced course in Group Psychoanalysis, and is interested in psychodynamic approaches to individual and executive team coaching. He is based in Glasgow and his outside interests include climbing and golf.
