Lisa is a Principal Lecturer in Occupational and Organisational Psychology at the Westminster Business School, University of Westminster. Lisa's current remit involves the design and development of counselling skills training, and developing a PG Cert in Coaching and Mentoring for Business.. Her doctoral research was one of the first studies explore the dynamics of personal development (mentoring/coaching) relationships over a one year period using a qualitative approach (counselling interview), resulting in the development of a comprehensive model of personal development relationship dynamics.Further, Lisa is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She is the director of Life Management Consulting (a consultancy that specialises in the application of psychology and self-development both personally and professionally and has undertaken various facilitative consultancy work with individuals, teams and organisations in the public and private sector. Lisa has worked with various professions including the civil service, health care professional, charities, the leisure industry, and professional organisations. Lisa has been running her own consultancy since 1999.
Lisa is committed to the development of individuals, teams, and organisations and has spent her career developing her own skills (within teaching, counselling and consultancy) and developing the skills of others. She specialises in helping various clients with various issues in various environments. Her main motivation for being on SGCP Committee is to contribute to the promotion of standards and ethical guidelines in Coaching Psychology as well as in Coaching and Mentoring.
