Stephen Palmer

   

Press Officer & Publications Sub-Committee Co-Convenor

Stephen is a Chartered Psychologist (Health & Counselling) and a Full Member of the Division for Teachers and Researchers in Psychology. He is an Association for Professional Executive Coaching & Supervision, Founding Accredited Executive Coach and Founding Accredited Supervisor of Executive Coaches.

In addition, he is accredited as a BABCP Cognitive-Behavioural Therapist, and is a Certified REBT Supervisor. He is Honorary President of the Association for Coaching, Director of the Centre for Coaching, and Honorary Professor of Psychology at City University, London.

He was instrumental in the setting up of the Coaching Psychology Forum and the Special Group in Coaching Psychology. He was Co-proposer of the Special Group with Dr Alison Whybrow. His interest in coaching psychology relates to professional issues, underpinning practice by research, adapting therapeutic approaches to coaching, enhancing performance and reducing stress in individuals and organizations.

His personal interests include jazz, walking, astronomy and art.
