Supervision and CPD event November 2011
Special Group in Coaching would like to invite you to attend our next event presented by Dr Jonathan Passmore Supervision and CPD: How should Coaching Psychologists maintain quality practice? An evening Practitioner event to be held at City University, London, EC1V 0HB Tuesday 22nd November 2011; 19.00 - 20.30 Registration and refreshments from 18.30
Some have argued that all coaches should be in supervision. Dr Jonathan Passmore challenges this notion and will argue that supervision is just one model for enhancing and maintaining quality in coaching practice.
In addition to reviewing a selection of supervision models, he will set out alternatives for both novice coaches and established practitioners for reflecting on and developing coaching psychology practice.
The session will include · A review of alternative supervision models · Exploration of alternatives for CPD · A route map for the development of coaching psychologists & for chartered psychologists.
Dr Jonathan Passmore is an accredited coach and was one of the initial group which explored the potential for coaching psychology which ultimately led to the formation of the SGCP. He has five degrees, has worked at board level in the public, private and voluntary sector and has published widely on leadership, change management and coaching psychology. He established the first UK coaching psychology masters programme and has been a regular speaker at conferences around the world. He works in private practice and recent clients have included the British Army, Estonian driving industry, Mercedes Benz and an NHS Trust.
